This page explains how content on IvermectinReport.com is made, checked, and kept current. It applies to every article, drug page, and state guide on the site.

How a page is produced

  • Topic selection. We start from real search demand — questions people actually type, such as whether a prescription is required in a given state, what a 3 mg tablet costs, or what the FDA label says about dosing. We do not publish topics simply because they attract advertisers.
  • Research. Before drafting, the writer collects primary sources and records the URL and access date for each claim that will appear on the page.
  • Drafting with AI assistance. Drafts are prepared with the help of large language models, working from the source set assembled in the previous step.
  • Human editorial review. A human editor reads every draft line by line against the sources, removes claims that cannot be supported, checks tone, and confirms the page does not instruct readers to self-treat or bypass a prescriber.
  • Medical review. Under our policy, pages that touch clinical questions — dosing, interactions, side effects, off-label use — will be reviewed by a licensed clinician before publication. As of September 27, 2026 no reviewer is appointed, so no page on this site currently carries a clinician review. See our medical reviewers.
  • Publication and re-checks. Published pages are re-checked on a schedule, because state telehealth and pharmacy laws change and retail prices move. State-law pages are re-checked at least every 90 days; pricing pages at least every 30 days.

Sources we use, in order of preference

  • FDA: approved labeling, drug safety communications, and consumer updates.
  • State legislatures, state boards of pharmacy, and state medical boards for legal and prescribing questions.
  • NIH resources and peer-reviewed literature indexed in PubMed.
  • CDC for parasitic disease guidance and public health context.
  • Manufacturer labeling for formulation-specific details.
  • GoodRx for retail cash-price ranges, cited with the date checked.

What we will not use

  • Anonymous forum posts, social media threads, and testimonials.
  • Claims made by sellers, pharmacies, or telehealth services about their own products.
  • Affiliate pages, content farms, or articles that do not cite a primary source.

Uncertainty and conflicting evidence

Where evidence is mixed, we say so and describe the disagreement rather than picking the more interesting answer. Where a question is unsettled — including ivermectin's use outside its approved indications — we state what regulators and published trials currently say, and we do not fill the gap with speculation. If we cannot verify something, the page says we could not verify it.

Dates on pages

  • Last updated means the text or data on the page changed.
  • Last reviewed means a human checked the page against its sources, whether or not anything changed.

Corrections

If you find an error, tell us through Contact or email info@ivermectinreport.com. We aim to respond within three business days. Factual corrections are made on the page with a dated correction note at the foot. We do not silently delete errors.
